Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2025
Product Radar ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard the information we access when you install and use our Shopify application or visit our marketing site (the "Services").
Data we collect. When you connect your Shopify store, we retrieve only the data required to deliver the Services: order items, product identifiers, prices, quantities, and transactional metadata supplied by Shopify’s API. We do not permanently store customer names, emails, physical addresses, payment card details, or other personal information that could directly identify your customers.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR). We process your store data under the legal basis of legitimate interests—to provide analytics you have expressly requested by installing the app—and, where applicable, by relying on your contractual necessity to receive the Services. You may withdraw access at any time by uninstalling the app.
How we use data. We analyze the data to generate sales trends, pricing recommendations, and performance dashboards visible only to you in your Shopify admin. We may internally train or evaluate machine‑learning models (including third‑party AI services) on anonymized or aggregated information to improve the Services.
Data sharing & third‑party processors. We do not sell your data to anyone. We may share data with third‑party service providers—such as cloud hosting, error logging, or AI infrastructure—strictly to operate or improve the Services. These processors are bound by confidentiality and data‑processing agreements that prohibit them from using your information for their own purposes.
Aggregated insights. We may publish or share statistical insights derived from anonymized and aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you or your customers.
Retention & deletion. If you uninstall the app, we delete your store‑specific data (including backups) within 30 days. Diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security and fraud‑prevention purposes.
Security. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Infrastructure is hosted on reputable cloud providers (e.g., AWS) with industry‑standard access controls and monitoring.
Your rights. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
